What are Women’s Formula Capsules?

Women’s Formula is made from fresh, whole Cranberries and Flaxseed lignans that are then dried and encapsulated in a pure vegetable capsule.

Each container has a 30 day recommended supply (60 capsules) and the daily  serving contains 450 milligram of Cranberry, 1000 mg of Flax (including 50 milligram lignan), is very low in natural sugar and contains less than 1 gram of carbohydrate.

Flaxseed lignans are called seciosolariciresinol diglycoside (SDG or SD). Based on research, a minimum of 50 milligram of SDG is needed to reap the health benefits of the ingredient classified as a phytoestrogen. Studies show flax SDG offers numerous health benefits of specific concern to a woman's health including maintaining a healthy immune system and healthy estrogen levels.

Another important quality of flaxseed lignans are their antioxidant properties and their ability to reduce the rate of bone loss. Flaxseed is rich in alpha-linolenic acid that reduces the rate of bone resorption by inhibiting biosynthesis of prostaglandins.

Cranberries are known to help support a healthy urinary tract and, as well as offering a source of antioxidants, are believed to help prevent dental plaque.
